• Speed: By combining target selection and sample preparation, Pathogenica's kits provide quick turnaround for samples. Coupled with the latest sequencing machines, results are ready in hours rather than days.
• Breadth: A Pathogenica probe kit can contain cover dozens or even hundreds of organisms. Our probe design algorithms can incorporate thousands of known genomes to ensure that our probes detect all known strains.
• Genotyping: Because we use sequencing as a detection platform, our probes simultaneously detect and genotype an organism. Thus, Pathogenica's DxSeq probes can trace the spread of strains or subtypes of an organism and detect the emergence of new varieties that may have clinical or epidemiological consequences.
