Aleksandrow Broth

Principle Aleksandrow broth consists of salts like magnesium sulfate, calcium carbonate, and potassium alumino silicate, ferric chloride which support the growth of potassium-solubilizing bacteria by providing the essential minerals. Dextrose is a carbon and energy source. The potassium alumino silicates serve as an inorganic source of potassium salts. Use: Recommended for isolation and detection of potassium solubilizing bacteria from soil samples in agro and biofertilizer industries. PHYSICAL PARAMETERS: Dehydrated Powder A fine, free-flowing, hygroscopic powder. Color off white colored powder.
